All About Vacation

When we got to Disney and checked in to our hotel, the first thing Daisy and Jacob got excited about was the bunk beds! Of course they each got a turn to sleep on the top and they loved having bunk beds!

While we were having a terrible time at Disney, Eli was living it up with Pam and Carl. He stayed with them for 2 nights and did very well! He didn't even miss mommy! Daddy, yes. Mommy, no.

Our first night in Orlando, we took it easy, went for a swim in the pool and it was very nice!

First we had to see the princesses! We saw Belle, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. It was hard to tell if Daisy was excited, but she talked about it all day. That was her second favorite part. Her most favorite was the fire works! (She is very excited that Aunt Laura will be coming to watch fireworks with her for the 4th!)

My friends went to Disney the same day! It was great because her boys helped keep Jacob occupied and cooperative! It was quite a blessing! And we had so much fun with them!

It was a long day. And even longer because our bus died in the middle of the hwy and we had to wait for a new bus to come get us. It felt like the middle of the night! We all got to bed close to midnight! That's late for my little munchkins!

We went to Pam and Carl's after Disney and enjoyed some time with them at the park and having lunch at a nice lakeside restaurant.

 On Thursday, we were heading up the coast to Destin, but made a slight detour to Homosassa Springs for a couple of hours to see the Manatee!

 Then it was off to the beach to play with our friends! How nice it was that they were coming down just as we were heading back up. What a nice way to end our trip!

  On Saturday we started  heading out. We took a long time getting out. We had to stop and see the beach one last time. Then as we got going, we noticed and Armament Museum with all kinds of fighter jets out to look at near Elgin AFB so we made a stop there too! It would of been nicer if we weren't so burned and the sun wasn't beating down on our sunburns. We didn't stay too long!

We had a GREAT vacation. Probably not something we will be able to do again for a very long time! But it was really nice to do! It worked out so great that we got to spend time with so many friends while we were there! God truly blessed us and we couldn't be more thankful!
