I know...it's early. But the stores have stuff out already and the kids are getting excited. I think they can't wait to put up the tree more than me! Laura...hope your ready to help!
It is going to be so exciting because they are gonna enjoy everything and understand so much more. They love the lights and the trees, making the Birthday cake for Jesus. They will understand the Birth story of Jesus so much more this year! Oh and the presents....they are not to the point that they know they can ask for anything and everything for Christmas, but they have their own individual likes and interests this year that will make it so much more exciting!
Jacob is so much into anything boy...Disney 'Cars' stuff, cars, trucks, planes, trains, etc! And Daisy seems to like anything Princess, with her favorites being Tinkerbell and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). Which makes it exciting to look at things and think about what they will enjoy the most! Yes, we are already thinking about what we are going to get so that we don't have to get it all at once! We have adopted a tradition that we heard from someone in our SS class at Crossroads of getting them 3 presents to represent the 3 gifts that were brought to Baby Jesus by the Wisemen! In years past we have only gotten 3 presents for them to share, since they played with everything together. But this year, we are gonna have to seperate them and give each their own 3 since they each have their own interests and their own space! But I am excited to try to teach them the reason for their "3"! I doubt they will totally understand this year, but they understand more and more all the time and it is amazing!

This weekend we are going to the Farm to pick pumpkins with our friends. It should be fun! And their will definitely be pictures for that.
