This was once again a new race for us, and another very disorganized one. It was ok. I don't understand how organizers don't think to have cups of water at the end of a race! I made sure this time to have a bottle waiting for them! Last race Daisy's throat was hurting so bad by the end and we had to rush all the way back to the team tent to get our water. Seems like a small thing, but really it isn't.
They finished their race on the track, but it was not all on the track. This is Cross Country you know! ;)

| Daisy finished 53 against k-5th graders. So this is about average for her when racing the older kids. Not her best time, she got bottlenecked again on the narrow paths. Her time was 9:55 for a 2K coming out to an 8 minute mile pace. Those bottlenecks really slow her down! The girls got 3rd place! |

| Jacob did much better today, coming in at 154 out of 185. Still, night time runs are just not when he does his best. But at least he had his meds this time! His time was 11:42. Go Jacob! The boys got 2nd place! |
Their next race will be the Titan Classic on Saturday. A 3K.
