The kids are running with a new running club for post season, Run4Life. They all raced today. But only Daisy and Eli have qualified for Nationals. Eli's took a little wiggle room cause he qualified for a 2 k but will have to run a 3K since he just turned 9.
Jacob
Came in 25 out of 28 with a time of 13:30, not too far off his best time. But he needed to get under 13 to qualify for Nationals. He was super disappointed but is determined to do it next year! Next year will be a 4K for his age group so he'll have a different qualifying goal to reach.
Daisy
Came in 7 out of 20 with a time of 12:38, mile pace 6:46. Only a few seconds off her best but on a hillier coarse.
Eli
Came in 27 out of 27. These are the fastest of the fastest runners so he did good. Especially for his first 3K. His time was 15:51, a mile pace of 8:30
