State Results
Daisy 17:13 for a 4K coming in 67 (top 7 race) out of 411. 😳
Jacob 18:01 for a 4K coming in 66 (open) out of 209
Eli 10:20 for a 2K coming in 156 out of 357 in the 4th grade and under open.
No PRs on this course. State is the absolute hardest coarse of the year. It’s very long hills, cold and usually a bit drizzly or dewy and the most runners in every race! The competition is fierce coming from every part of the state. But, all three of them beat their time from last year. Jacob and Eli by more than a minute! And Daisy got to run the top seven, an honor all by itself. She missed a medal by only 17 girls. She can only do better next year!
Will add pics when we get home. Can’t do it while traveling.
They will be doing another month of training with a running club and Daisy and Eli will run nationals on November 17th at Tom Sawyer here in Louisville.
