Rumble Through The Jungle

Daisy had a rough start to her race. One of the girls on her team was tripped by 

another team and the then was tripped by her and fell, crying for  moment. She then

got back up and was determined to still get a medal! I am so proud of her 

perseverance today! She has a great come back story to share with her class

on Monday. She passed over 160 kids to get the last medal! 50th Place!  This is also the first 

time she has ever gotten a medal in the Rumble. This is tough competition with well 

over 200 girls in the race!

She raced in the top TEN girls race.

 Jacob started off REALLY GREAT! His first time around the field he was in 4th to start! Mommy and daddy both may have cried a little! But, he wore himself out a little too quickly and lost his place. But he still did really well! He came in 34th, but they only gave out  25 medals in the OPEN race. He is GOING to get a medal this year! He's doing fantastic!
