Daisy and Jacob ran the Rumble Through the Jungle on Saturday. There were 4 races, Girls competitive, boys competitive and girls open and boys open.
Daisy was chosen to run the competitive race this year! YaY! But, she was the YOUNGEST of the 10 (only 10 of our girls!) She got 73rd place out of 236 with an official time of 9:12 for the 2K. She was the 9th Harmony girl to cross the finish line. It was a great accomplishment getting chosen to run with the best and the fastest. The only drawback is, a bunch of her friends got medals in the open race and she would have placed 8th with her time in the open and got a medal too. But we let her know what a great accomplishment it was to get chosen for the competitive race! I think she is happy overall and feels she did her best! And, she improved her speed from last years race by 1:18.

Jacob ran in the boys open. He did really well, improving his time and place over last year. He was 104 out of 224 at 10:32 for the 2K. He improved his time from last year by 34 seconds.
