Parent teacher conferences went great! Jacob is doing very well. Paying attention, listening, not wrestling on the playground. His work is improving. His teacher thinks he is very sweet! He could use improvement on his hand writing and coming up with ideas. But over all we were very happy with the report! A great improvement from the beginning of the year! She seemed much less stressed about him :)
Daisy's teacher just loves her as well! She is very impressed that they did not go to preschool and she is doing as well as she is and all she knew coming in. She said she could tell we work with her. She loves her imagination. She says she is coming out of her shell, making friends and even getting up in front of the class to share her poems and stories. She says she is always happy and just glows. Daisy has started writing her own little "books" that she has been taking to school and sharing with her class, and the teacher is happy to let her share them because it encourages the other kids to draw and write stories too.
I am so proud of them and how well they are doing! I am so happy that Jacob has all of the sudden found this burst of confidence since he learned to tie his shoes and ride his bike! It is awesome! His reading is GREAT! And Daisy's stories and poems are so cute!
