So, we finally went on a trip to Michigan to see the fam. We went up North first to visit with my grandparents in the boony's. They live in Lake Huron National forest if that tells ya anything. And yes it is near Lake Huron. There are a few pics here.
Then we went back down to the Firemans field day and Oxroast. Clark did not like oxburgers....I never did either, but they are big there.
Jacob absolutely loved watching the tractor pull. He sat there forever watching, and did not want to leave and kept wanting to go back all day. Guess we are gonna have to find some tractor pulls around here.
We definitely need a dvd player for our trip to Texas in December!!! Thank goodness they finally were so whooped that they slept a good part of the trip back home!
Well, back to the grind!
Ahh, now we have to get back to IKE cleanup....we had a good windstorm from it here. Crazy, this far inland! No rain, all wind and it knocked the whole city out of power, some places up to two weeks. It was worse than our experience with RITA in The Woodlands (houston). I can only imagine what it is like down there after IKE.
