Rearrangements

Before school starts, in just 14 days, we decided it would be best to separate Daisy and Jacob. We are  not quite ready for Eli to be in a big boy bed yet, so we put the bunk bed in Daisy's room and Jacob's bed back in his room. For now they are very happy with the arrangement. We tried to allow Eli to sleep on the bottom bunk last night but he wouldn't stay put so back to his crib he went. We'll keep trying. But when he is ready, we will probably move the top bunk into his room since it has rails and Daisy and Eli will each have their own bed.

Now, I wish that their rooms would always look this nice and clean, but not with Daisy. She is a literal hurricane.

Jacob's room is nice and clean for now too, though I do not expect his to get as bad as Daisy's unless she plays in there! He pretty much sticks to a few select toys, where she is a toy hopper and leaves piles of toys in her wake. Eli unfortunately is becoming like her! Two peas in a pod, they are. 

Before long we will be having a change in decor. Eli is becoming fascinated with Lightning McQueen, so we will be moving all the Cars stuff to Eli's room when he gets his big boy bed. And I will be working on Transformers (definitely must have Bumblebee) bedding for Jacob's room. Since no kids themes come in Queen bedding, this is something that I will be working on, maybe with a little help from gramma again.

This week, I have also been busy clearing out Eli's closet as well! All cloth diapers and accessories went on Craigslist and we got a pretty good chunk of change for them! We are officially done with diapering! (except for bedtime pullups) And the hand me down pile of clothes seems to be getting smaller and smaller as the gap between the boys is getting much smaller! Oh my! Speaking of height, Daisy is actually about an 1/8 inch taller than Jacob right now! Wow! Crazy!

One last trip before school starts begins Monday. Camping along Lake Michigan. The kids are super excited to go camping. Hope for no rain, but it looks like their may be some. Maybe the weather ppl will be wrong, it would be noting unusual! No Rain! No Rain!
